Loved the natural feel. There were fruit and nut trees you could pick from and a couple adorable dogs! Nice and peaceful, away from the main road. The salt water pool was fun for a nighttime dip and there was coffee and tea available at all times. The location was great. The nights cooled off and made it the perfect temperature without the need for air conditioning. We didn't use many of the amenities, such as the pool table, ping pong table, movie theater room,etc, but we were informed that we could use them.

The property, inside and outside was exceptionally clean with all the amenities available on site. I enjoyed the peace and privacy of the home and the patio. The view was very peaceful…birds, geckos, etc.

Country Cottage in Papa Bay is located in Papa Bay Estates, just 19 miles from Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Historical Park and 21 miles from Kealakekua Bay.

It’s so important to have proper communication when travelling and I had that with Arthur (the owner). He was quick to respond and there to help anyway he could. He was kind enough to talk about the area and take me on a tour, which I enjoyed immensely. The tiny home has everything you need and is very comfortable. There’s clean drinking water, an equipped kitchen, an outdoor barbecue and other essentials (like a mini portable washer, beach towels and over the shoulder mini cooler) … the home’s very clean and comfortable and even the resident geckos are super friendly! I found they put a lot of thought into little details inside the cottage. The night sky is unbelievably beautiful and you also have an ocean view in a quiet and safe neighbourhood…I’m looking forward to coming back!

From the frog chorus at night to the amazing view from the lanai, the cleanliness, spaciousness, all the extra amenities (including kitchen items & snorkeling gear), location within a reasonable distance to many activities on the island. . . . Serenity Hale has it all! Our host, Jim, was MORE than accommodating! He only desires the best for his guests, & having served as a concierge previously, he does an amazing job of keeping you happy, active, & safe! He provides soooo many suggestions & helpful tips! Wish we could stay longer! Would not hesitate to stay here again! Mojo, the pup, is an added benefit to make you feel right at home during your stay!
