    It's amazing how much of Warren Street has been beautifully...

    It's amazing how much of Warren Street has been beautifully and authentically revived. I would suggest the town put a park or school in where the ugly, empty small strip mall near the west end of Warren Street is. Also the river view park at the very western end of Warren should be cited as things to do or see.

    The town itself was disappointing.

    The town itself was disappointing. Apparently it's still in the process of regentrification. Most of the shops are only open Thursday-Monday. The highlight, however, was dinner at Feast and Floret. Excellent!

    We had no idea what to expect but the city of Hudson...

    We had no idea what to expect but the city of Hudson delivered for us in several ways. They had some antique shops that we liked as well as other shopping. The restaraunt scene is varied and vibrant. The people we met on the visit were all pleasant and gave out information on Hudson and the surrounding areas.

    Great little town with cool shops.

    Great little town with cool shops. Was too cold during our visit to enjoy outdoors in late December. Stayed at Wm Farmers and sons which was great including dinner at Hotel. Shopped at a local bookstore that was also a bar. Really great artsy shops, but I forget names.

    Hudson is a wonderful little town tucked away in upper NY...

    Hudson is a wonderful little town tucked away in upper NY State, close to Albany. It has lots of great little shops, restaurants and wine bars.....if you haven't already visited this place....Do It 😉 you won't regret it.

    It really is just as described.

    It really is just as described. I was upgraded to a room downstairs and was very grateful for the ease in parking and moving things to the room. It was a cold, snowy time and I could imagine it is really beautiful with the gardens in full bloom and the creek running on a warm day. I'll love to experience it then too. In the meantime, it's a great winter spot for my work stay-overs.

    We had such a lovely time in Carolyn's beautiful home, which reminded me so much of the house I grew up in. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and the bedding & pillows were very comfortable. Carolyn is a fantastic host and we loved chatting with her about Hudson and the art scene in the surrounding area.
