We had not planned to be in Idaho City but road construction detoured us so we decided to find a place to stay. We loved The Gold Mine Hotel. We had drinks in the restaurant while we waited to check in and then returned for dinner later. All the staff were very friendly. The king size bed was very comfortable and the room very nice.

It was comfy, beautiful decor, the location is downtown and walkable to everywhere. Jamie is amazing and goes above and beyond to assure your visit is outstanding. Kudos to Jamie. We will definitely be back soon. Only problem is we had to go home 🙂

Gorgeous view of the valley. Very easy to check in and out. Was a very relaxing stay
