Very poor location
The grounds were very unkept
There were no amenities at or around the hotel.
A train tack was right behind the hotel with permanent RV residents in the parking lot.
The rooms were very small.
The only positive was relatively freshly painted room.
The host was a second language learner and was difficult to understand. The communication was very limited.
The room was better than camping.
I didn't realize that this hotel didn't have an elevator and my original booking was for the second floor. I was in town for a foot surgery and couldn't really navigate the stairs comfortably. The check in staff kindly accommodated me in a ground floor room, even though it had a broken air conditioner. I was pleased with this compromise.
The only reason we stayed there was because it was walking distance from my son’s home. Over priced for the location. But, it did feel clean. For an older hotel, I’m glad they did not have carpet the vinyl felt cleaner.
