I’ve always wanted to visit.
I’ve always wanted to visit. It’s a beautiful place, but not very big and if you don’t like the water (excursions for fishing, whale watching, etc). There really isn’t that much to do. Parking is very limited, so try and get a place close to the Main Street, so you can walk to the shops and restaurants. Allison’s restaurant had gluten free options for me. Kennebunkport is a quaint seaside village! There is so much character and history in the town - plenty to see and do. Alisson's Restaurant and Batson Brewing are two great places to dine and have a cocktail or two. H.B. Provisions is a quaint store that is a visit back in time. It is lovely to stay somewhere memorable rather than a bland hotel, where one could be anywhere. Being able to read our books by the fire, with a glass of wine, is a distinct memory! The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed being served in the charming kitchen, and having a wide-ranging conversation with fellow guests.
