We really enjoyed our rustic stay at Mount Rushmore Under Canvas! Everything was clean and cozy, and we especially loved the lobby area—it was such a great space to relax. The campground itself had a wonderful atmosphere and felt very peaceful. Just a tip for future guests: bring a flashlight for walking around at night, and keep in mind that there’s no electricity in the tents (important if you use a CPAP). Breakfast was a highlight—we had a delicious breakfast sandwich that really hit the spot before heading out for the day. The staff made the experience even better; they were so helpful, friendly, and kind. Overall, a great stay and a memorable experience!

The location was perfect, I can still smell the night air and hear the wind in the tree's. We had a thunderstorm in the middle of the night and it actually added to the ambiance of the whole place, if we ever travel this way again we will definitely spend a couple of nights here. Also the smores around the campfire were a hit with the grandkids and adults too!

We walked the worn and it is chock full of touristy kitsch, as you might expect. However, there are also places with some historic significance, the wood carving venue is fun and it's an easy drive if you want to visit Sturgis or Deadwood. A couple of the dining places were a little sketchy (they all get their chicken nuggets/tenders from the same fake chicken supplier), but Annie's and a couple others are good and inexpensive. Undoubtedly the main attraction here is Mt. Rushmore and the town is pretty much dedicated to that. It's a charming little town with some history, easy to navigate, and appears to be safe for walking around anytime. Good visit.

Perfect place to stay if you are visiting Mt.

Perfect place to stay if you are visiting Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse. The town is small but quaint. Locally owned shops and restaurants with wonderful friendly people. Grapes and Grinds is has fabulous coffee. The Red Garter Saloon is a must. The entertainment is incredible. The town also has outdoor adventures as well.

Lots of things to do, go see and just plain relax at. The town has shopping, restaurants and just about anything you want to do. Helicopter ride for me. Two to threes days are good if you want to see most things. A week if you are a hiker.

Best location and hotel in Keystone I think, very helpful staff, nice quiet room perfectly large enough, and a fairly straightforward but good attached restaurant. Good breakfast options.. Parking was easy for me with a large vehicle. Showers are a bit low but I recommend pointing them horizontally if you are tall lol. I enjoyed my stay thankyou.

The hotel is located by Mt Rushmore, and close driving distance to other attractions. The Manager was very pleasant and understanding with the issue I encountered

The location was good but dining options adjacent to the hotel were closed well before dinner. The car park was onsite so convenient. Breakfast was good.
