We wanted to view the Coast Redwoods and went to Humboldt...
We wanted to view the Coast Redwoods and went to Humboldt State Park which is south of Loleta. Loleta is 45 minutes north of the visitors center so we could have stayed in a closer location to that. However, there is an abundance of other options of things to do in this area. Loleta itself is a very small town, but there are larger towns very nearby.
