Great little town. Super friendly shop keepers.
Great little town. Super friendly shop keepers. Loved the jail history and historian, as well as the history posted in several shops.
Southern Perks has excellent coffee and croissants and good prices. Their lunch fare looked good, too. We didn't visit the distillery this time, but it's definitely worth the visit, too. Very interesting.

Great small town with a traditional town square, good selection of sovereigns shops and restaurants also a local museum in the old jail house. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly the girls in the coffee shop are a great laugh, but one bit of advice most of the restaurants close by about 6:00pm there is a Mexican restaurant that stays open until about 9:00pm so eat early, and if you can eat at Miss Mary BoBos the food is excellent and the are so knowledgeable about the place and Miss Mary. The home style dining is great lots of good food all shared around a big table a great experience

Nice little town, some stuff does close down at 6pm but there are restaurants that open after that because that's where the locals go! The Mexican in the town square, Canterero was open until 9pm, the service was great and the food fantastic.
If you're going to both the Jack Daniel Distillery and Hardware Store be aware that some of the stuff available at the Distillery is not on sale at the Hardware Store. Plenty of room to park and everything is within easy walking distance

Most shops in the square (small town of Lynchburg) open between 9-10:00 a.m. and close by 6:00 p.m. If you arrive into town later in the evening, or need to rise early to continue on your trip, you will miss out on a lot of the wonderful little shops that the town has to offer.

The town is adorable.
The town is adorable. The distillery tour far exceeded expectations. We enjoyed the shops and had a great BBQ lunch at Barrel House. Everyone was super friendly. The food was delicious. And the whiskey--is there anything better?

We stayed here one night on the way to Nashville to visit the Jack Daniels distillery. It is basic, but clean and has all you need. The owner is also very friendly and funny! In the morning they offered coffee with some pastries. The distillery is a 15 minute walk from the Inn (google says it’s longer, but it is actually much shorter). Also very close to the quaint Lynchburg town square.

Few minutes walk to Lynchburg historic centre and Jack Daniel’s Distillery, parking right outside the room, clean, very friendly staff, overall good value. Be warned, there several diners in town but all closed between 5pm and 7pm though there is a Chinese takeaway next to the hotel which is open until 10:00pm.

Location was key as is only a 10 minute walk to Lynchburg Square and another 10 mins onto the JD Distillery. Front desk and cleaning staff really friendly and helpful. Subway and Chinese restaurant/takeaway 2 minute walk away. We would stay here again!
