Exceptional service with every detail considered. The cashless and tip less approach is terrific, and somehow results in even friendlier and more attentive service. The details in the room from the wine, to the spa product samples, and the personalised candle elevate the experience. The rooms are stunning and luxurious. The property is beautiful, well maintained and has no shortage of activities and areas to explore. All good from the breakfast to poolside to dinner is fresh, hearty, and delicious. This is one of my favourite hotels and I’m already planning my next visit. A new go-to for a wholesome escape.

The room was super spacious, clean and very comfortable. The king size bed was super soft, we had a great time (: The place is right next to pacific coast highway but it’s not loud when the windows are closed and the balcony is surrounded by plants, so you still feel private. Thanks also to the receptions for saving us by giving us cutlery for our Uber eats!

The cottage was cute with a beach vibe decor and very peaceful and serene, the perfect place to rest and recuperate after travelling internationally for a month. The deck is great at night with the fairy lights on. The lady managing the property was lovely. As I was not driving she took me on a local tour of the area to show me Zuma beach and the hiking trails.

    The State Parks were beautiful. Topanga Canyon Road was closed and could not see this area. Traffic was horrendous at time; in addition to the busy traffic, there were working on several segments of the road, and had very long one-lane car lines…

    We had a terrific stay at the Surfrider!

    We had a terrific stay at the Surfrider! We loved everything about it. Staff was awesome. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Very beachy vibes, which we loved! The rooftop deck has great drinks and the food is off the charts. We will definitely be returning soon!

    Great location; amazing sea views.

    Great location; amazing sea views. If you love the sound of the surf this is the perfect place. The bed was really comfy too. Kitchen had everything you needed. I would've preferred a regular sized coffee pot, but we made what they had work.

    First of all, I loved staying here! The house is located off Latigo Canyon Road in Malibu, close to the Malibu County Market, the Pier, and its adjacent beaches, as well as Pepperdine University. I was searching for a tranquil place and found it here. Please be reminded that having a car is necessary, and the winding roads can be challenging at night if you are not accustomed to them. I was upgraded to a family room, which was, of course, very spacious and fully equipped with a kitchen.

    They changed the set up of some rooms, we don’t appreciate the changes and had to upgrade. Still the equipment was not satisfying. We appreciated the help of the staff very much. Overall a great location the relax close to Malibu Beach.
