What a great Texas destination. Lots to see, City is revitalizing, local businesses galore and such friendly people. Helpful in things to do coming up and taking place this coming yr. (which we couldn't take advantage of due to fast & furious wkend trip) Country is beautiful, easy access back to Houston always helps

It was a horrible experience! The room was not finished, the lights didn’t work properly and the toilet didn’t work properly. Door would not work properly! The room was filled with bugs. The neighborhood was not that great. It seemed like evertime icame out of the room there were bad characters hanging out side my room and around the facility. To top it off the room phone did not work at all. Totally disconnected!!!!!$

Mineral Wells is working on capturing its glory days when people from across the country and some international travelers. There are new buildings and businesses springing up everywhere; there is a new bike shop, and seldom used bike trail. There many places and visit and explore. Interesting sites. A variety of restaurants with good food. You can learn a lot about this town just staying here for a short time. Baker hotel has a lot of interesting tidbits. Bowling alley was really small but fun. The wildlife was awesome to see.

The hotel is not as it seems from the outside. Gwen was nice and helpful, but the guy working at night was not helpful, rude, and extremely unprofessional. We didn’t have a room we reserved when we got there and literally had to stay with a family member that night. We would have left if there had been anywhere else to stay in the town, but there wasn’t. We also were not given a room with two beds, which is what we reserved, but again, we had nowhere else to go. It was an unpleasant experience to say the least.
