Amazing restaurants like Kickers, awesome hotels like Hotel Avisa, best shopping on the Embarcadero, crazy beautiful views and great people no matter where you go. Morro Bay is a charming beachside town.
Morro Bay is a charming beachside town. It has really good seafood restaurants, a lot of ambience. It may be a little too touristy for some, but it's a great walking town. And, I've never seen so many people with their dogs on vacation walking around. Made me wish we had brought our puppies with us. A lot of different ways to enjoy the estuary, from kayaking, to tiki boats, to fishing, hiking and surfing. This little town has it all. And it's close to San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles wineries, and the most beautiful coastline in the world.Guest review bySimon - 10.0

We stopped in Morro Bay for a night on our way home to San Francisco from Venice Beach (great halfway point) and enjoyed our waterfront hotel. The town is very small so very walkable. The waterfront has a bit of a touristy feel with lots of souvenir shops and restaurants.
