A beautiful old house with so many delightful features, sympathetically designed in a calm and relaxing colour pallette. Extremely comfortable bed, loved the spa bath and great shower. Anna and Rob made us very welcome, and we wished our stay was longer. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to nearby Cooperstown as recommended, and of course the fall foliage colour was splendid as we drove through. We struggled a bit navigating with our GPS but this is our first visit to the States and sometimes you find amazing places by getting lost!

The room was extremely comfortable and quiet, in a slew of hotels it was the only one with silent Aircon. The location was ideal for a short walk into town, and onsite parking was handy.

    I most liked the welcoming atmosphere.

    I most liked the welcoming atmosphere. It's not located near any attractions (most are 15-20 minutes away) but you know that when you book this location. Being "away" from everything can be a bonus. Your first impression when you see the outside may not be impressive but the interior makes up for that. Farmhouse is descriptive as there are hens, rooster, and 2 cats on the premises... a plus for me!
