What can I say about this place! I absolutely loved the rooms (my aunt stayed in a separate room with 1 bed) they were very updated and comfortable. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The hotel itself was in a perfect location, "ALMOST" directly across from Mystic Village. And the positive vibes I got just from checking in were wonderful and the front staff was great!! I like this hotel (the pricing cannot even compare to the $300-400.00 hotel prices in the area. In fact I loved it so much, I just booked again to spend thanksgiving with my family !!!

    The whole Mystic area is beautiful and many areas serene.

    The whole Mystic area is beautiful and many areas serene. Traveled from Mystic west to Old Saybrook and north west to Essex which was outstanding. Don't miss lunch or dinner at the Griswold Inn you won't be disappointed. Went east to Stonington which we loved. Much too much traffic in Mystic but if you are able good walking distance to everything. Shops were grossly over priced but the restaurants were wonderful.

    We visited the Mystic Seaport Museum.

    We visited the Mystic Seaport Museum. Although pricey, it was great! We visited a "town" from the 1700's and got to tour a whaling ship. There was even a small submersible. We had a sandwich in the little restaurant. Plan to spend about 2 hours. Parking available.

    Mystic has lots to see and do if you enjoy the coastal...

    Mystic has lots to see and do if you enjoy the coastal lifestyle. The waterfront is busy so there is always something to watch. Highly recommend Mystic Seaport Museum if you enjoy ships, history, boat restoration and all the exhibits they offer. Lots of ice-cream shops, soft serve and hard, so many choices. The Engine Room has great food and brews. Mandy's Wood Fired Pizza has excellent thin crust pizza.

    Magical mystical place full of history.

    Magical mystical place full of history. Fascinating and an easy stop off the train between NYC and Boston. We walked everywhere. Loved our stay at The Taber Inn and Deviant Donuts were also a highlight.

    Mystic Seaport downtown is a wonderful place to walk around...

    Mystic Seaport downtown is a wonderful place to walk around with many restaurants and shops. The drawbridge is interesting to see when in operation. Mystic Aquarium and Village is another recommended place to visit with many interesting shops. During the holidays, everything was nicely decorated!

    I came to Mystic for a night for the kids to splash in the pool and the pool was great. Clean and warm and quiet. Paul was welcoming and informative. The room fit our needs and was clean. The young ladies clearing the inch or so of snow in the morning were cheerful and friendly. Have already recommended and will definitely visit again as Mystic is one of our favorite local towns.     The room was clean and bigger than we thought it would be. Fridge ,microwave ,Keurig coffee in room . Girl at checkin was extremely friendly .Breakfast was a nice surprise...a lot more than we expected. The hotel is close by to everything.

    Hotel was exceptionally clean. Breakfast bar was decent. Either everyone was super quiet or it felt it was a quite, well insulated room. We did not hear any noise. They have coffee/tea bar well stocked at all times. Staff was helpful.

    We stopped for one day in Mystic, on our way to another destination. The Whaler's Inn was close to shops and restaurants by foot. For an overnight stay, the room was convenient for our needs and very clean.
