We absolutely loved our trip to New York City!

We absolutely loved our trip to New York City! The city had such amazing energy and there was always something to see or do around every corner. The subways were surprisingly clean and easy to navigate once we got the hang of them and we didn’t see a single rat! The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, which made exploring even better. Overall, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Highlight for the family was the sunset/night view from the Empire State building, and overall, there are just so many iconic places to visit in NYC. Food trucks were all amazing and easy to find around touristy spots. MTO runs 24/7, making it easier to navigate through the city, but there’s a lot of delays and maps’ estimations are often wrong.

We spent a great 3 days in New York for my granddaughter's double-digit birthday. We went all over the city. The only sad part is that we were there during the nor'easter and we weren't able to see some of the things we wanted to see in lower Manhattan. Other than the uncontrollable weather, our trip was fantastic.

We stayed for 9 nights and went out to galleries, shows, events/tours, jazz, delicatessens, comedy nights, late night cheese cake etc. Walked pretty much everywhere although the subway was great. Felt very safe in Manhatten and service was exceptional

New York is truly a city like none other.

New York is truly a city like none other. It’s wild, chaotic, and unapologetically alive. At times it’s crazy, a little filthy, and yes — it even stinks — yet somehow it all adds to its unmistakable charm and character. There’s an energy here that you simply can’t find anywhere else. The city has an X-factor that draws people from every corner of the world, each chasing dreams, stories, and opportunities that only New York can offer. Every street feels like a scene from a movie, layered with history and heritage waiting to be explored. The architecture is breathtaking — from timeless brownstones to iconic skyscrapers — each building telling its own story. The people move with purpose, always in a rush, yet somehow the rhythm of the city feels perfectly orchestrated. Love it or hate it, New York gets under your skin — and once it does, it never leaves you.

We went to NYC to attend an opera at The Met Opera Theatre.

We went to NYC to attend an opera at The Met Opera Theatre. Great experience! We filled in the other evenings with musicals. So many from which to choose. We took advantage of a 2 day pass on a hop on - hop off bus. Other than that, we walked. At Central Park, we hired a pedicab and had an informative ride. We were so impressed with the friendliness of vendors and other people on the streets.

This hotel is perfectly located, close to the Central Park, Broadway, Times Square and subway stations. We were a bit concerned with noise prior to our arrival, but the kindly staff gave us a room facing back and it was really quiet (for New York). We were pleasantly surprised by this. Friendly staff members like miss Karina, Miss Nancy and the Paris borne gentlemen that makes perfect espresso coffee made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in midtown either alone or with family.

The best bed I've ever slept in (reclining bed, hello!) and good room facilities - good shower and liked the mood lighting behind the TV that you can change colour. For me, the location is perfect - easy walk to Times Square and nearby Penn Station makes getting to/from Newark, and around the city easy. The staff were all super friendly and helpful too! Overall would definitely stay again as for Manhattan, the location and quality of the room make this hotel definite good value in this expensive city.

Location is perfect for everything NYC & Manhattan had to offer. Most major attractions are within easy walking distance. The Subway network is great for anything further afield & with contactless payment meant no time trying to work out what ticket you needed for what at a machine, you just paid once on entry for each journey. Local restaurants & diners away from the Times Square are generally cheaper and more 'authentic'
