We absolutely loved our trip to New York City! The city had such amazing energy and there was always something to see or do around every corner. The subways were surprisingly clean and easy to navigate once we got the hang of them and we didn’t see a single rat! The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, which made exploring even better. Highlight for the family was the sunset/night view from the Empire State building, and overall, there are just so many iconic places to visit in NYC. Food trucks were all amazing and easy to find around touristy spots. The only sad part is that we were there during the nor'easter and we weren't able to see some of the things we wanted to see in lower Manhattan. We went to NYC to attend an opera at The Met Opera Theatre. Great experience! We filled in the other evenings with musicals. So many from which to choose. We took advantage of a 2 day pass on a hop on - hop off bus. Other than that, we walked. At Central Park, we hired a pedicab and had an informative ride.
