We met with the worst ever experience at this place.

We met with the worst ever experience at this place. We were given a key card of a room which was already occupied. Then upon request we were given a room with one king size bed and a small bed which was small and uncomfortable. The front desk lad was very rude and she treated us as we were homeless.

So plattsburgh ny has a lot of opportunities to do stuff. Lake Champlain is absolutely gorgeous. The mountains of Vermont and the Adirondacks surround you. There's plenty of eateries and shopping. A must stop is Clare and Carl's, Plattsburgh is known for Michigan's I've had many McSweeney's is good too. With Ausable Chasm, the high peaks, lake placid, the Champlain islands and Vermont all are very close. The Saint Lawrence seaway and Maseena is on 90 minutes away. Try high falls gorge too. There's numerous place's to shop as well. Cumberland head plattsburgh bay state campground offers good camping and an awesome beach. Montreal is only 67 miles away also.

Champlain Center mall as it has a number of fun to shop stores and a few places in the food court that are good quality. Perkins Restaurant is a very good place to eat as any time of day you can get breakfast if you want it.

Most people will stick to the shopping malls and the outskirts but you definitely need to go to the downtown area view the incredibly beautiful mansions of the streets and the centers and see the industrial colonial area by the river. There's also quite nice restaurants that are not chains or overpriced nonesense. It's small, but cute. Lots of cool antiques too

    Have nothing bad to say.

Have nothing bad to say. Would have liked to stay longer, but one night was all we could afford. Just shopping for xmas. Could get hotels at a cheaper rate, but we have absolute confidence in the Hampton Inn chain for cleanliness, and nice hot breakfast.

All in all the hotel was nice with a good continental breakfast. However, you can see that the hotel aged, e.g. the carpet on the floor is really wavy and the laundry machine has not been cleaned in ages. However, considering the price it is a fair offer.
