Beautiful house. Country living at its best.

Beautiful house. Country living at its best. We were just passing through but this would be a great place for a family gathering. The only downside if any is that there are some steps involved but nonetheless the house is absolutely gorgeous

Excellent location for attending Glimmerglass Opera...

Excellent location for attending Glimmerglass Opera performances (only a ten mile drive through beautiful upstate New York countryside). Same distance to Cooperstown to attend nostalgia baseball games. Downtown Cooperstown has many stores of interest offering tourist souvenirs as well as numerous baseball nostalgia items. At typical cost of $120 per room per night, this motel is a genuine bargain. However, the rooms are small. Housekeeping for motel rooms is excellent. Rooms were cleaned promptly by mid-morning. The best restaurant experiences were in Cooperstown. However, these were also the most expensive. On the whole, restaurants were moderate in what they charged. Richfield Springs has a very good pizza restaurant called "Pizza New York" locate a short block from the motel. The town also has an inferior Chinese restaurant called "Foo Chow." Skip this one.

Loved the small town atmosphere with much historic background. Motel was right across the street from the weekly Farmers Market in the well maintained town park. Close to eateries, gas and conveniences stores. Right on a very popular scenic route with easy access to other towns and area destinations.

We’ve been visiting Richfield Springs for many years.

We’ve been visiting Richfield Springs for many years. It’s got a lot of the charm you look for in the Mohawk Valley, and it’s handy to area attractions - opera fest, museums, antiquing, dining, lakes. It’s at a somewhat higher elevation than NYC, where we’re from, so in high summer, the evenings can very often be comfortably cool. The only troubling item this time around was a very rundown home we had to pass on our way to and from our rental - where, very sadly, two very large flags were flying from the front porch, one of which had shockingly vulgar content about the current White House administration, and the other a MAGA reference that could only be called painfully ironic.

Just 30 minutes from Cooperstown, where we had to drive to each day - the trip is easy with rolling hills and farms. A distraction to get the kids off of their screens. Staff is a couple that give personal attention to your comfort and really care about their business - very helpful and easygoing. Very new and clean. Kids loved the indoor pool.

Very clean and quiet place! The staff was amazing asking if we needed anything everyday we were there. My son was playing baseball at the Cooperstown Allstar village and this is where my wife and I stayed. It’s about a 42 minute drive to the Cooperstown Allstar village but didn’t mind the beautiful drive everyday.

The owner of the farm was friendly and helped us get into our room. The pool was large and there are only ten rooms on the property; so we were the only ones using the pool. Most of the hotel was just a couple years old. Very spacious bedrooms!

Small modern hotel with an indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna, and a well-lit common area. Large rooms with air conditioning and an excellent bathroom.
