We, my elderly mother and I requested a cancelation prior to our stay and the message was never addressed. After receiving no response from the hotel, we showed up in good faith expecting to stay for the time reserved. As soon as we arrived to the room, I perceived a foul odor and found that the pillows stunk, and the bed smelled as it hadn't been changed from previous guests. I called Booking.com and was denied the cancellation. We left without staying and were denied a full refund. I ended up paying for a night without staying there. As a town, Riverside has expanded enormously in the last 40 years. Many good, reasonably priced restaurants on the west side of town. Freeways can be confusing. four of them come together! Be sure to have recently issued maps. Many Universities and Colleges nearby.Guest review byCalkins - 2.0
I liked the location,
I liked the location, But right from the start everything started bad when we pulled up to the house and there was a car in the driveway And the property manager said that belongs to the owner who lives in another country and it wasn't gonna be moved, so instead of 3 car parking it became 1 car parking because the owners car was in the way, after that we went inside the house which it was pretty nice inside but the biggest problem was, that out of 4 bedrooms, 3 did not have electricity and 2 of the bathrooms did not have electricity either, the rest of the family were very upset and so was i, we did not get enough toilet paper so we had to go to the store to buy more paper it was a disaster so basically we did not have a good time, it was really bad so i would never go back nor recommend it to friends or family, very bad experience with this placeGuest review byEverardoUnited States - 10.0
This hotel is great.
This hotel is great. The staff and the owner were so accommodating. The gentlemen who run the valet parking were great and fast. The location of the hotel is great too; it's on the same side of the street and a block down from the Food Lab (an awesome food court) and the Game Lab (a giant arcade). I recommend use Lyft to get around the city but most places are in walking distance from the hotel. Downtown Riverside has a college town feel to it but it's still an urban city that you need to be cautious in. Overall, Downtown Riverside is a good time every time.Guest review byRickUnited States
