    Rome's downtown was gutted by urban renewal decades ago and has been making a comeback, largely due to the beautiful Capitol Theater, although a tornado in 2024 didn't help. Plenty to see if you're interested in history and historic buildings. Lots of good restaurants in or near downtown. Foothills of Andirondacks close by, beautiful area.

    When I saw the outside of the place I was oh man I think...

    When I saw the outside of the place I was oh man I think this place is going to be bad. But we were surprisingly surprised with the room it was clean and decent. Not a 4 or 5 star by any means but for the price it was very good.

    Quick, easy and friendly checkin.We didn't spend much time there and didn't get a chance to use the pool but we did check it out and it looked nice and clean and felt warm to the hand. Would definitely stay again if I returned to the area.

    Good and standard complimentary breakfast. Clean hotel however, some rooms would need lift ups. Especially bathrooms. But it’s more of a cosmetic issue than anything else. Very good hotel clean. Very nice and friendly staff.

    Exceptionally clean. Nice details and comfort features throughout the house to make the stay more enjoyable. Huge bath towels and plenty of hot water. The bed was so comfortable I got the best sleep I had all week.

    The hotel was well maintained, and close to restaurants. Felt it was in a safe neighborhood. I like that they have white bedspread on the beds! I always try to book a hotel with white, because you know they are clean.
