At least 2 Towels were not clean. Mattress & pillows were worn out. Mushy room smell. Complained to front desk at around 11:15 ish pm about loud noise in the parking space in front of our door. She asked if it was white van, I said yes. She said she take of it, she not only did not take but 2 more vans came in. Noise continue way after 1am. We had to be up but 5 am so very little sleep. Staff was busy and on autopilot. Pet friendly $30 Room was nice. Comfy bed. Bathroom needed updating. Shower curtain smelled musty. Excellent restaurant on site. Santee is lovely - Quality Inn was terrible. From outside parking lot the building edifice is dirty/grungy and unwelcoming. NO signage to tell arrivals where office is. Office is dirty from outside, windows all smudged very unwelcoming. Santee is a stopping point for us when we are traveling.
Santee is a stopping point for us when we are traveling. It has a great Pro shop and a really good Mexican Restaurant. I know that they have at least one golf course, but have never played it. Santee as a whole looks like a nice little town.Guest review bySylviaUnited States - 2.0
They discriminated against my service animal and the...
They discriminated against my service animal and the overnight desk lady is unprofessional and very unaware of such esa/service animals. They made me keep my service animal in the car or cancel my (non-refundable) room. The manager was understanding when I called but everyone who has service animals or esa for ptsd BE AWARE, because they will discriminate and take away your animals rights. So, if you're traveling along I-95, this location is just awesome. Besides, in this hotel every room has a separate entrance from the street, and you're parking just 2 feet from your room, which is extremely convenient. The breakfast was very nice. I mean, if you like powdered omelet and standard hotel sausages - this is a very good breakfast, one of the best.
