Great location and within walking distance to downtown Ketchum. Staff were great and very accommodating. Close to biking and hiking trails. You can also get a daily pass to the YMCA which is a very nice facility with a great lap pool. Nice breakfast and good choices.

Tamarack lodge is within walking distance of everything in Ketchum - I even walked to the YMCA for a workout in the morning. Everything is very close. You can even walk to Sun Valley - it’s straight up the road on the bike path

    We loved Sun Valley. Wow. Beautiful ski resort. The area also offers expansive nordic trails, snow shoe trails, snow mobiling, and ice skating. And plenty of high end boutiques packed with quality items for all seasons. The area is short on quality restaurants. The few that they do have are really great though. Go to Hailey for your Groceries!

    Sun Valley is a gem in Idaho.

    Sun Valley is a gem in Idaho. Staying in an updated condo would be the best situation. The scenery, activities, and the general aura of the place will be a memory not to be forgotten. i have wonderful memories of being able to spend some time there every year for 36 years.

    Came to SV to attend wedding.

    Came to SV to attend wedding. SV has lots of outdoor activities (golf, hike, bike, fish) to offer and would have been more enjoyable in a cooler season. It was a bit hot and way too dry in early September and forest fire smoke was a nuisance. It’s not easy to get to as it’s just to far from bigger airports. I don’t think I’d return.

    We love Sun Valley….it is a wonderful year round destination. Great restaurants and lots of activities for the entire family. If you get the chance take the Gondola to the top of Baldy and have lunch at the Roundhouse, the views are not to be missed!

    It was colder than we thought it would be and even snowed the 2nd night. The little village around the Lodge and Inn are cute and some good places to eat. We don't ski but could see going back and golfing sometime.

    Very scenic area with lots of activities available.

    Very scenic area with lots of activities available. Very friendly people willing to assist you with any questions you had. We didn't partake of the public transportation, but it was free and ran often throughout the local and nearby areas ...a definite must in the winter. The nearby town of Ketchum (less than 2 miles away) had a whole lot of variety stores to occupy your shopping needs & two full service markets.

    The location and beauty of the environment is exceptional. There are many activities and facilities to enjoy. Access is easy, car parking is plentiful. Decor inside the historic Lodge is very interesting and the ambiance is nice. Swans, streams, flowers, lawns and Adirondack chairs were wonderful. The check-in and check-out at the Sun Valley Inn was friendly and efficient. Interesting to note that many guests were walking their dogs in the morning.

    Loved our location so close to the Lodge, pool, courts with amazing peace and quiet under the stars! So nice to have a kitchen/ family room over a hotel room to fit our family with 4 kids. The office made check in easy. We had an amazing get-away! We were happy to get 5 passes to the Olympic-sized pool and discounts to use the pickleball and tennis courts. We played pickleball most days and rented bikes by the lodge which was so fun!
