    The price is reasonable, but the room has a strong smell...

    The price is reasonable, but the room has a strong smell that doesn’t go away, even when we leave the door open to air it out. We also had issues with the front desk — I accidentally left my game there and they took a long time to return it, making things more complicated than they needed to be. On top of that, there are constantly strange people walking around the hotel, which makes it feel unsafe. The location is good, but overall, the experience was disappointing. Also, Booking.com should show more respect for people who make reservations. My friend booked a room, and when he arrived, the reservation simply didn’t exist. That’s unacceptable.

    Quiet location. Close by food and shopping.

    Quiet location. Close by food and shopping. No breakfast as the hotel is really for long stay visits with kitchens in the rooms. Our room 308 had a couple issues. The toilet refilled every 10 minutes. The room temp thermostat wouldn't control but he air conditioners control panel did work.

    Thornton offers so many options for restaurants, shopping,...

    Thornton offers so many options for restaurants, shopping, family activities and is convenient to Denver. We were in town for business but made time to attend the National stock Show and surprisingly enjoyed the events including the Professional Bull Riding! Never in a million years did I think we would get caught up in the excitement. We will be back!

    Unsafe neighborhoods.

    Unsafe neighborhoods. Nearly ran over a homeless woman who charged out into an intersection at night with no right of way, right in front of police. Car thieves rampant (the police told me to keep my nice vehicle away and never leave it unattended)

    The hotel was GREAT!!!

    The hotel was GREAT!!! Parking not soo good, lot was full every night by the time of our return, so that was challenging trying to find a parking spot. Location directly off the highway was GREAT for getting to all our site destinations.

    Great towels. Good beds. Warm rooms. Very nice staff.

    Great towels. Good beds. Warm rooms. Very nice staff. OLD facility. Very run down. Hasn’t seen a deep clean in years. When I sat in the tub, I could smell very old pee. Like an alleyway. Plumbing is loose. Zero added value to the room. Not even bottled water or a microwave. If you want to nuke your meal, you walk to the end of the hall and stand in the freezing draft while waiting. Super limited snacks. Broken fridge. There was trash in the hall in front of my door. You need to request cleanings but they don’t tell you that.

    Hotel was fine but the door security system on my door wasn't. They gave me two cards which neither worked. I had to go back to the front deck (I had been driving for 10 hours, all I wanted was to go to sleep) and get another card. That one I had to use 10 times before it finally opened the door. I went a got some fast food and when I got back, same thing, I had to try the card ten times before it finally let me in. Pain in the you know what!

    The location was good for what I needed, the room was comfortable with good amenities. There was a new GM who had only been in place for a few weeks and she was clearly changing the atmosphere in the hotel for the better.
