This is a motel with helpful staff. Nothing out of the ordinary. That said it was clean and bed was comfortable enough for a one or two night stay. They do have a swimming pool which in this hot weather would be nice, if you have time to rest at the hotel but my trip was family business and I was in and out. Staff very pleasant If they are not going to service your room during your stay, should have place to dispose of garbage and recyclable materials. They've done an excellent job of bringing this Motel 6 up to snuff. The staff was friendly and were a great help even when I arrived early for ck-in. Room was spotless, the heater/AC, and wifi worked, and the bed was comfortable. All in all much better than I expected for an economy motel. It's a town that has seen significantly changes over the past couple of decades, To the positive, the restaurants have improved in quantity and quality, the majority of the downtown shops are disability accessible, and traffic is usually light to moderate even during the busiest commute hours. "Dragon Pond" continues to be a favorite Chinese source of better dining in the downtown area, and there are a couple of others new sites close to City Hall...it's worth exploring the length of South Main & Locust Streets to find your own favorite(s)...do try "La Fogata" for great Mexican food, though (South Main=).Guest review byPeteUnited States - 4.0

The only problem was the front desk could not find our reservation under my name and we had to wait as they checked their computer .... they still did not find the reservation. However they compensated us with two rooms, a suite and a single room with a queen bed. With no additional charge.
