The cabin was about a half hour drive to MerleFest.
The cabin was about a half hour drive to MerleFest. Very beautiful setting and cabin, with modern appliances. But bring your own shampoo and conditioner since it's not provided. We drove into town and visited the courthouse museum, and took the guided tour of the jailhouse and the oldest house in the area - definitely recommended. Then ate twice at Dooley's restaurant - excellent.Guest review byBergman

One interesting thing though, between the hotel and the speedway gas station it looked like there was a homeless person who had set up a tent and was running a generator. They are currently limited to bagels, pre-packaged muffins, and beverages. The staff was friendly and the hotel pleasantly clean and comfortable.
