We visited Winters for the first time on New Year's Eve 2024...

We visited Winters for the first time on New Year's Eve 2024 to attend a fun concert at the Opera House. By the time we checked in, put our things in our room and drove the short distance to downtown, it was getting dark so we missed out seeing the downtown area during the day (so we will have to go back!) The area was humming with visitors to the local restaurants which are farm to fork. We went to The Preserve for dinner reservations at 5:30 - what a COOL place! Highly recommend. We walked briefly up Main Street which was clean and quiet even though the restaurants were so busy. Plenty of parking by the way. The Opera House is in a historic building and the event was hosted by the local theater company who does plays and other artistic displays of talent. Can't wait to go back - I love local theater! Will allow time to enjoy during the day as well next time :)

The Christmas lights and decorations turned this small town into a wonderland of color. We always feel safe walking about during the day and evening. And be sure to visit Patio29 down a few blocks from the main streets. Well worth a stop in for a tasting flight, cocktail, snack, or bottled purchases. www.patio29.com

We love Winters; its quaintness, shops and restaurants.

We love Winters; its quaintness, shops and restaurants. People were friendly, it was easy to get around. You just park and walk around town. There were several wineries close by which is always an attraction for us. To us, its a little jewel of a town. We also loved the walking path down to the river. It is also a family friendly town.
