I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The staff truly go the extra mile to ensure a fantastic experience. Bean and Tracy at reception were warm, welcoming, and extremely helpful. Thuy gave me an excellent massage—so good that I booked a second one! The steam rooms were also a wonderful touch for relaxation. The rooftop bar and pool are simply gorgeous, offering breathtaking views and amazing cocktails. The food was outstanding—the chicken wings were to die for, and the pho was the best I had in Vietnam! The rooms may be cosy, but they are very well-equipped with updated TVs and modern amenities. Everything was designed for comfort and convenience. If you’re considering this hotel, don’t hesitate—book it now! You won’t regret it.

The location is amazing and not too loud at night, which is amazing for hanoi. The staff are absolutely brilliant, super helpful and friendly, they went out of their way to post something i needed posting on the day we left. They kept me updated until it arrived in Austria.     I was lucky I visit the "Hanoi Hilton", walked the lake very early in the morning which was amazing experiencing so many Vietnamese out exercising ... energy, music, smiles, laughter it was lovely. I also did a motor-cycle tour which was great ... a friendly and informative guide, coffee at the "train-street", walking around, great meals, wonderful friendly people, it was a great experience!

    Hanoi is an attack on the senses; buzzing with energy, culture, incredible food and shopping. You immediately find yourself emersed in this city, particularly the Old Quarter, and it becomes addictive. Your hotel will become a place of refuge where you will rest and recharge, but before too long you will be craving to get back out on those busy streets again to experience more!

    Ok, first thing..i prefer HCMC.

    Ok, first thing..i prefer HCMC. However i can see that if one was a first timer to Asia then this city would be more familiar perhaps. Old Quarter is v. busy, bars, touristy with all the accompanying pros and cons of that. Whatever you want will be offered to you within 10 minutes by a guy on a moped. The seedy side is not even beneath the surface. I don't pay it any mind, but for those with a weak constitution you could easily lose yourself here in a day. Just say no. Decent museum spots, sights and nice lakes. Grab bikes - blessing. My advice is to venture out of the Old Quarter, cross the bridge to the East and go explore that part too. An easy convenient city, compared to, say, Phnom Penh, but not as enjoyable as HCMC for me. I liked it, but i would probably go back to HCMC before Hanoi.

    Hanoi is interesting, buzzing, has a great vibe and lots to see and do. We wish we had more time there but we really enjoyed strolling round the beautiful lake, people watching outside friendly bars and tasting some incredible food. Don’t miss it!

    Excellent hotel in middle of Old Quarter. Young and energetic staff who are without exception the friendliest and welcoming I have ever had in a hotel. Genuinely interested and ready to help with anything you need. My room with balcony was lovely, and a surprisingly quiet haven from the noise of Hanoi surrounding it. Comfy bed, good shower, silent airco, safe deposit, complimentary coffee and tea, just how I like it. Breakfast delicious with Vietnamese and western options. Highly recommended!

From initially booking this hotel we had contacted with Gracy and her team who arranged airport transfers , trips , tours , restaurants and general advise . There are many pitfalls travelling in Vietnam but honestly this hotel were amazing in the service and facilities getting rid of any concerns and making a superb trip

    A hotel above a convenience store sounds strange but was great .hotel is in the best spot in the old quarter overlooking turtle lake .and the manager Vincent was amazing soon polite and very accommodating to our needs he even wrapped our breakable things we had bought from danang. We are definitely going back to la belle Maison when visiting hanoi.
