Notwithstanding the general behavior of the locals exuding positive energy with accommodating and welcoming attitude! Picturesque old town with bags of character & a good vibe. Definitely worth the steep climb to the fortress for views over the town of the 20 plus mosques & numerous churches. Everything including the fortress are all walking distance although it is very steep up to the fortress. The room was new, comfortable and very clean. The reception staff where very helpful, welcoming and lucky for us spoke great english. Breakfast is at a bistro next door with a few options and was very good. The hotel arranged for a taxi to come pick us up and drop us at the hotel.
