Absolutely amazing sunrise views from bedroom, looking down on Rhino park. Lovely to be out of Johannesburg - the area Cradle of Humankind is great. Owners made me feel like family. Highly recommend horse ride. Will be back!

Beautiful hotel, the Skyroom was perfect! The food was delicious en the staff was exceptionally helpful and so friendly. Was a exciting seeing all the animals from the balcony. We enjoyed the hot tub and the view.

This was one of the best places I've ever stayed in the whole of South Africa. The location itself was gorgeous. The view from our room, the spacious room, the outdoor shower, the tub and the fire place. It was gorgeous and exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The staff were so kind, accomodating and assisting us throughout our stay. We also went on a hike around the property and saw giraffes and kudus and water buffaloes. All in all, this was a fantastic experience for all of us.

This was the best stay I had in a very long time. The host were very friendly and immediately made us feel comfortable and at home. The beds were super comfortable and slept like a baby. We felt very safe and the surrounding nature is beautiful. The breakfast was excellent as well as the dinner we ordered. It truly feels like home and I highly recommend to come and stay. The location is excellent especially if you are coming for the hot air balloon experience.

    I want to live here!

    I want to live here! It's peaceful, quiet, I have never experienced silence like that. It was beautiful. The apartment itself was a home away from home. Everything was well thought out, the deco, having everything available for convenience, a gas heater for cold nights, fully equipped kitchen and a gas grill outside, a plunge pool to cool off for hot days/nights, games, a really cool picnic spot, a boma to go make a fire and hang out... I can't type it all out man, just go experience this place. It's the perfect getaway to recharge, relax and just unwind.

    It is a self catering farmstay.

    It is a self catering farmstay. The location is easier to find. Gert and Driene are so welcoming and loving, they go beyond their way to make sure you enjoy their beautiful property. Who ever put together the design of the house is a perfectionist because every piece compliment each other. Don't make a mistake of booking one night but if you do! Have the decency of arriving check in time. There is a variety of animals you will see. If you are a bird lover please pack your binoculars, you will thank me later. I yen to be a poet, i would describe this place with grace. After visiting Motubane, i believe some places God lives there in silence.

    Thrilled by the setting.

    Thrilled by the setting. The sunrises and sunsets made for every photographer's dream captures. Hosts were amazing. All you need is your food and sundowners to enjoy an African farm stay. Nothing rudimentary about this off-grid accommodation. The guest's comfort was carefully considered in the creation of this beauty.

    Booking.com.

    Booking.com. The placce is named Alto Log Cabin, not Madeteleli. Confirm it with the owners, When I spoke to the owners they had never heard of Madeteleli. But Alto Log Cabin’s first impression was clean and a looked after cabin. It was very nice.
