Pictures you see while booking does not do justice, the place is amazing and beautiful. The beach is like 1min away and I was obsessed with the pool, the owner is friendly and amazing. The beds are comfy, the information given was much of help including the map to guide us.

    It was home away from home.

    It was home away from home. View was at a perfect spot, at the heart of Margate. View felt like it was Mauritius. Easy access to the town and playroom at the ground floor kept the kids busy at night and not forgetting wifi :-). Definitely will be back again ;-).

    It's a great place to be for change of scenery.

    It's a great place to be for change of scenery. Its a good place for family gateaway and for couples retreat. My small advice would be to get a place with no pool if you are going as a couple just to have the bonding sessions more meaningful withous excessive noise interuption.

    Margate is central to amenities and entertainment, such as: Wild Coast, MacBanana, Waffle House, etc. It has lots of shops nearby, so you will never travel too far for any needy requirements. We ate at Waffle House, Wimpy, braaied at the pool area and used the kitchen in the apartment.

    Margate is a very clean town and there is an effort made on the South Coast to keep the roads neat and pothole free. I especially noticed that Law Enforcement patrols are very visible in the towns and along the beaches.

    The view, the comfort, close proximity to the beach, the flea market on Saturday and Sundays at the rotary club. Deon our host was extremely helpful. We highly recommend this cottage. Will certainly be back. Absolutely loved our stay♥️short distance to the Shelley Beach ski boat club. From there we watched the fishing vessels return with their catch of the day over a glass of wine and a light mid day lunch. The mall at Shelley Centre is lovely to brows in. Margate 5 min away along Lilliecrona Rd, Uvongo.

    We've never been accomodated at Margate hotel holiday. Nothing I liked since we couldn't find the place. And they were unreachable. I liked the service of Fahed S from Booking.com who assisted us nicely with alternative accomodation which is St Michael the very beautiful place.
