Surrounded by gorgeous mountain ranges and charming restaurants serving home made deliciousness from yummy pizzas to scrumptious burgers and don’t get me started on the home baked goodies. Nice to hear the point of view of immigrants to SA. The cottage is nice also. Enough space, beds a bit hard, but that's personal. The whole place is well maintained. Breakfast is good, typical English. They're also prepared for load shedding, with special lights. Prince Albert is a nice little town, lots of beautyful Victorian houses. We went in winter and spent time in front of the fireplace during the evenings. The back patio and outside shower look out onto the gorgeous garden. It felt very tranquil and cozy. There were also interesting books about Prince Albert and surrounds available to read, which I enjoyed. The location couldn’t be better, we walked everywhere as it is a small town. Stayed at Doringbos before and I just love the place.
