What an amazing, private 2-bedroom-villa. When you arrive and enter the house, immediately you feel at home. What these owners have created is exceptional. The photos do not express what it really is - an old horse stable converted into a luxury, tastefully designed and decorated villa with outside BBQ/Braai area, fully fitted kitchen with top end equipment.... just one word: STUNNING

A very nice place to stay for a coupel of days in Riebeek-West. Spacious and clean room. Excellent service from the host Leo who was very friendly and helpful. Lovely to be able to take a dip in the pool in the garden in the afternoon.

Alexandra is such a warm, welcoming and friendly host. She has created a beautifully magical oasis in a tranquil garden. She pays great attention to detail. The room feels inviting, comfortable and relaxing. Perfect for escaping the bustle of the city. The secluded outside bath was just what we needed to melt the city worries away. So many restaurants within a short drive, making meal times a breeze. We will definitely be back. Thank you Alexandra for a lovely stay.

    Riebeek West and Riebeek Kasteel are two quanit little scenic towns close together with lovely little restaurants, coffee bars and interesting shops and stores. Riebeek Kasteel is easily navigable on foot and everything is close together.

    We do the Berg River canoe marathon every year, and we usually stay here. Both Riebeek Wes and Riebeek Kasteel are quaint towns to explore. We at at the Pizza place and also the Barn in Riebeek Kasteel and I would definitely recommend both

    A must visit.

    A must visit. One of the most beautiful locations in the Western Cape. Settled in a valley, surrounded by beautiful vineyards and farmland and majestic mountains. The area has a rich history of wine making. Only a 90 minute drive to excellent beaches, to make day trip to coastal towns. Look at the areas' tourist information for fun events, like "sleeping under the stars" - on a mountain top, art and craft and markets.

    The town is very small but has a lot of traffic passing by.

    The town is very small but has a lot of traffic passing by. Many restaurants are not open every day so check with them before driving out. The hosts of Stars hollow have a restaurant and shop in town that is open every day and they make great coffee and pizza. You can walk around safely and the residents are very hospitable.

    We were at a conference for the 3 days so we did not get to...

    We were at a conference for the 3 days so we did not get to travel around but the country side is beautiful and there is definitely a pull to go back for a few days holiday. The restaurant we can recommend is The Barn. The food and service is outstanding.

    Beautiful Town with amazing Restaurants.

    Beautiful Town with amazing Restaurants. And in general a very welcoming town. Being part of the LGBTIQA + Comunity we were not frown upon and were accepted everywhere we went. Wine tastings and Olive tasting were amazing.

    We loved everything about our stay. This is a little gem hidden in Riebeek West. The attention to detail was absolutely fantastic. Everything you need and more, and everything was excellent quality. Andre, the host was also very attentive and helpful. The experience of sleeping in an old barn made it so special and the decor was amazing. Special touches like good quality coffee, fresh milk, rusks, fresh fruit, freshly cut flowers from their own garden made the stay very special

    Breakfast exceeded my expectations. Fresh fruit salad & yoghurts, cereals, crisp croissants and fresh muffins, delicious quiches, creamy chicken livers, the hot english breakfast and filter coffee, made it the best most delicious hotel and / or guesthouse breakfast I have ever had by far.

    The staff were very friendly. The breakfast was really good with a variety of pastries, serial, bread, jams and cheese, eggs, bacon, boerewors and chicken livers. The hotel has the most beautiful gardens.
