Everything. Attention to detail was exceptional down to real coffee and shower gel in the shower. Everything has been so beautifully done and the view is lovely. The hosts were super friendly and organised and patient with me. Probably one of the nicest stays I have had anywhere to be honest.

    Great place for a week end especially in summer. Adequate shops, coffee shops etc. Nice fish n chips, restaurants and lots of lovely places nearby like Wilderness Knysna etc. Lovely drives up the hills. Views beautiful, riding bikes fine. Walks to Gerickes point.

    The number of bergies or street people hanging at the SPAR...

    The number of bergies or street people hanging at the SPAR and surrounding area for the size of town was disconcerting. Nearly had an incident regarding the snatch of a cell phone. Wonderful little town with good restaurants and upkeep of paths and benches wonderful to see. Clear marking of dog friendly beaches helpful.

    Sedgefield is a hidden gem, often overlooked by visitors to the Garden Route. Most people only visit the popular markets on Saturdays, but do not know about the spectacular beaches or the stunning river mouth and estuary. The town also offers excellent eateries with a variety of dietary choices. Overall, the town is also quite safe and not too touristy.

    It was a very relaxing stay.

    It was a very relaxing stay. We loved the tranquillity and the natural surroundings with beautiful bird sounds. The views over the lake and the mountains were spectacular. The unit itself was very comfortable and I loved the indoor heated pool.

    It was a lovely visit…Sedgefield has a lot more to offer...

    It was a lovely visit…Sedgefield has a lot more to offer than first thought and is so beautiful..took a drive and couldn’t believe how beautiful the houses and beaches were and ate at a really amazing restaurant on the beach. Went to the Saturday Market which spectacular!

    The tranquility, beautiful views and sounds of the birds, sums up Sedgefield in our book. Plus the amazing sunrises and sunsets. The accommodation at Karios on the Lake was outstanding, extremely comfortable. A fully equipped kitchen made it a pleasure to do self-catering. The hosts Penny and Warren became friends, and we will definitely meet up with them again.

    Look no further for a great place to stay in Sedgefield! Hands down the best guesthouse I've found in a long time. My room was so thoughtfully appointed, with everything needed for a comfy stay. Stylish too! A rarity was the good sized and private covered patio, with a pretty view and seating options that made it usable day and night. The hosts are exceptionally welcoming and helpful, putting great care into this peaceful little haven. They've successfully raised the bar in Sedgefield😋

    Sedgefield Beach House is exceptionally beautiful, clean and well equipped. The host provided a lot of information about the place, as well as information regarding things to do in the area. The view of the trees from the bathroom is beautiful. The house is very spacious and the sitting area upstairs provides a lovely place to relax and read. Due to the weather we were unable to enjoy the deck. Thank you for the comfortable accommodation.

    The accommodation offered everything you required, the beds are comfortable and all around very clean. The view is spectacular and the sounds of nature the only sound arround. Close to Buffelsbaai, Knysna and Sedgefield beaches I recommend it to anyone who needs to recharge their batteries, it was magic.
