Great value for money, very attentive and accommodating host. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Very clean, with good supply of good quality soaps and exceptionally good quality towels and linen. Fridge and good supply of teas and coffees with fresh milk. Breakfast was delicious with both a selection of cold buffet and hot plated breakfast. Exceptional service at breakfast. Definitely good value much more than we expected for the room rate.

The hosts were nice and caring, we felt at home The house is 200 m from the coast, at night you hear the ocean - what can be better? THe breakfast was fabulous. They offer three variations of breakfast, you may choose depending on your preferences and appetite. the accommodation is very lovingly and thoughtfully furnished. you have everything you need here. The direct access to the beach is simply unique. unfortunately we were only there for one night and the weather was not quite suitable for swimming yet, so if you stay here in the middle of summer - definitely stay longer and enjoy the beach! the distance to cape agulhas is perfect to go for sunset. the area was quiet and comfortable. our host even provided us with fresh bread and butter, which made us feel very welcome right away. communication was also easy and clear. we loved everything about the accomodation! thanks for having us

Having traveled in Africa for 3 months I can safely say this was the best stay my husband and I experienced. Iona is a fantastic host. She went above and beyond with the snacks and treats she provided. We were blown away her generosity. She thought of everything. She also sent us very helpful messages before and during our stay. The apartment is in a lovely town very convenient for visiting Arniston and the southernmost tip of Africa. The wifi is really good. We slept very well because it was so quiet and comfortable.

    Struisbaai is a wonderful place to stay, it is small and has all the facilities one could need, restaurants, shopping, chemist etc. I loved the harbour, and being a photographer this is a wonderful place to stay. It also has beautiful beaches and lots of places to walk, I felt safe at all times.

    The shops is very close to our destination, lots of places to eat, we had break fast at the Old cape restaurant on the Main road, The air is very clean and healthy to breath in, and its very easy to get around Struisbaai, up to Cape Agulhas points, via the main road.

    Struisbai is one of my favorite places to visit every year.i love that it is not overcrowded and the kindness of the locals. My children are safe and I feel at ease for them to take walks on their own. Our favorite spot is the Harbour.

    Struisbaai has the essence of providing a well for filled vacation. The serenity that surrounds the town meets the clear turquoise ocean with its soft white beach sand allows one to smile and appreciate the simplicity of beauty. To have a few wild stingrays swimming everyday very close to shore was a great sighting. Our time didnt allow us to sample a few restuarants but the ones we did try were amazing. This was our 1st time in Struisbaai and it was a beautiful experience, Yes our time was very short so i cant wait to experience a longer stay. But i'm pretty sure Struisbaai wont disappoint.

    It’s a nice quaint holiday seaside town.

    It’s a nice quaint holiday seaside town. Nice and peaceful, serene. The beach areas are lovely. At the harbour you get a a close up experience with the stingrays. Only problem is there are very few places (literally only 2) that cater for halaal if you don’t just want to eat fish. Not much to do I the area, go to Agulhas for that, which is very close.

    Everyone is very friendly, crime free and also very near to Cape Agulhas which is well worth a visit to see the southern most point of Africa. Gavin's Forterrai (?) is well worth a visit,mgreat Italian food.

    Everything the house has everything that is needed. We just got back this afternoon after a lovely weekend spent in Struisbaai with family. There are heaters in every room and more than enough extra blankets. Each room also has a fan in case you go in summer. Two bedrooms are ensuite. The house is beautifully decorated. The backyard is nice and private. Will definately return I. The future.
