On arrival around 9pm, all the restaurants where closed and there were also no food shops in the area. There were no porters available to bring the luggage in. The hot water settings in the bathtub could not be adjusted to an acceptable temperature. The room had a musky smell. The breakfast the following day was not a buffet as expected and served directly from the kitchen. Our stay was from the Friday to Monday. We booked out the next day and requested a refund as the facilities was not as what was advertised. No refund was given. I will definitely not be staying there againGuest review byBaloka - 10.0

We loved that you feel, smell and see nature all around. So much beauty to continue exploring. Grocery shopping was a bit limited in Wilderness. With only the Spar and not a great variety in meat. The Half Collared Kingfisher Trail was a great half-day hike - we hired canoes from the nature reserve camp site. At the farthest point was a waterfall! The beach at Wilderness is great - our kids loved the lagoon, specifically catching little fish with nets.
