The location is excellent both for staying local and enjoying walks and wildlife and as a base for exploring the island on day drives. Magnificent views over the ocean . Everything provided there was of high quality, clean and allowed for meals and picnics to be prepared in the kitchen or BBQ. Very comfortable warm bedding.

Really nice staff and home feeling. We've met whole island power outage and everything shut down before close hours. Nothing to eat and nowhere to buy anything but the staff provided us with simple food so that we didn’t go through a hungry night. The house’s decor and amenities make it feel just like home, and you even have a family of kangaroos as neighbors. If, like me, you’re still awake at 1 a.m., open the master bedroom curtains—you won’t be disappointed.

one of the best place we have ever stayed. The photos online are incredible but even they don't do it justice. From the dignified old roo that welcomes you in the front gate, every moment, every corner was spectacular. The fact that it is an eco lodge makes it even more perfect. Pool spectacular. We are going to miss this place. The beauty of the place was complemented by the care of the agent/ owner. We were absolutely made to feel like VIPs. The place is a winner.

Owner was easy to communicate with and very helpful getting us settled in, the house was very relaxing, clean and comfortable with lots of furnishings to make it feel homely. Liked that it was a little out of town making it very quiet and private and lovely views of the bay. Local cafes and pub were great for meals. Short trip from the ferry terminal.
