The owners are lovely - extremely responsive and helpful with requests. We loved the personal fire pits / cauldrons and the location is perfect for exploring the area. The huts are in a field next to the farmhouse and the famous hillock. It was cosy, very clean with a lovely area to enjoy sitting and eating outdoors. The woodland gardens on the estate were beautiful and really worth exploring. Having the hot tub with an extra bonus and a perfect way to enjoy the amazing sunsets. There was lots of lovely places to visit nearby and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Very quiet and scenic with the forest behind. Loved watching the stars from the hot tub and a few military jets that went over. We visited in March and the lodge was still lovely and warm, even when the temperature outside was close to zero.
