We had an amazing family vacation on Walter Ranch. We have never experienced such a perfect accomodation, with the most amazing view, nature and extremly kind owner, Walter. Kids loved a big and clean swimming pool, wich we had it all by ourselves. The beautiful horses, kind dogs and many other animals, such as different kinds of birds and bugs, made our stay even more perfect. We have every intention to come back.

If you are looking for a change of pace, somewhere quiet to reflect, unwind and recharge while being looked after by excellent hosts then Gedeon Tanya hits the spot. Welcomed by Zsolt, the owner, with a shot of apricot brandy he patiently answered my endless questions about Gedeon Tanya. It is a small holding/active farm, with modern rooms. Eat dinner there and enjoy his mother's (Eva) home cooking, delicious. If you are lucky as I was, you will sample his farm reared Hungarian Steppe Grey beef. Fantastic breakfast, with homemade dried beef and salami. You can't go wrong.
