The lovely peaceful setting.Hot tub was soothing after a long drive and we sat outside around the brazier at night under the stars.A welcome break away after a busy few weeks. We even braved the plunge pool ( pure and spring fed) to wake ourselves up. Hearing the birdsong was also lovely and we will definitely come back.And wonderful value for the cost.Thankyou Fiery Peaks and Kay and Keith.

A great little town to stop over for a couple of nights while travelling around NZ. The cottage was very homely and spacious - hot tub was lovely, good shower pressure, lots of DVDs. A visit to the Military Museum is a must.

A recently renovated country house set in Pleasant Valley, Bellbird Hideaway features a garden. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking.

What an incredible house in a beautiful area! Felt unbelievably lucky to get a night booked here. The photos don't do it justice! We wished we could have stayed longer!! Diane is the most wonderful host 💛 So easy to contact, she met us at the door with such a warm welcome. The house itself is stunning, our room was lovely, such a comfortable bed, shower was incredible! Breakfast was delicious the next morning, and she gave us a tour of the church just up the road, which is pretty special. Loved getting to know Charlie the cat, too. Felt like home 💛 we are from the UK but would come back here, especially when next in NZ and stay longer! Thankyou Diane 🙏

The accommodation exceeded our expectations which made up for the fact that it was a bit further out of Geraldine. Everything was there and we can recommend it to all those who prefer accommodation in a quiet area.

A large historic property that has been well converted with all modern facilities. It stands in its own grounds approached via a long gravel driveway. The couple that own it were perfect hosts - there to help but not intrusive. They did offer to show us their farm an offer we were keen to accept and thoroughly enjoyed. They supplied a very large basket of breakfast/lunch type foods of exceptional quality. As we were only staying two days we were unable to use it all. It included fresh milk, muesli cereal, bread, home made cookies, butter, fresh orange juice, custom chocolate bar, crisps etc.

Stunning wee cottage and area, quiet. Very comfortable place as well as the bed. Soft music playing and the hot tub ready to go when we got there. Cold plunge in the stream the next morning. Amazing place and people.
