The views are so stunning that it's actually hard to go out and do stuff! Everything is here that you could possibly need. The hot tub was perfect for our winter break for a warm soak and to soothe aching muscles from all the walking we did on the island. So handy for all the wineries and activities around Onetangi Beach and Valley, and just a short drive or bus ride to everything else.

Great little cottage, right in the Oneroa village, so an easy walk to stores, cafes and restaurants. Very clean and modern inside, clearly well looked after. Bright and warm, with two queen bedrooms and an open living area/kitchen. Deck. So it is well set up for a longer stay if you are able. Shower pressure was amazing and the bathroom was modern and immaculately clean. The host was very good at responding quickly to any messages or contact both during booking and the actual stay. Really enjoyed the stay here, the location was excellent and look forward to a return stay in the future. Travel tip: Found that the cottage was about 50m away from the AT bus 501/502 route, which also goes down the ferry terminal. So you could bus straight from the terminal then just a cpl minutes walk to the cottage if you don't have alternate travel arrangements.

Gorgeous property! Quality furnishings, comfy beds, good showers, well equipped kitchen, lots of seating areas, great outdoor area with BBQ. Close to bus stop, shops and the beach. James was a wonderful host. Quick to respond and accommodated our needs, he was great! We appreciated everything and had the best Christmas ever here! Played games on the lawn (before the rain!) and thoroughly enjoyed spending time here! Thank you James! If we ever come back here (hopefully we will!) we would definitely stay again! Highly recommend!

    Breakfast hamper ordered was ideal with adequate food enabling us to not stress about Acquiring food so early in our stay. Location was to die for being able to observe a working vineyard from comfort of the Cottage.

    We had a great stay at Whisper cottage in the winter. It is warm and cosy. Having the car included during our stay on the island was very convenient, just drove from the ferry terminal without any hassles. It is located in the middle of island and easy to get to the famous vineyards and the beaches. We had a great lunch at Man O' War Vineyards as the owner recommended. The cottage is surrounded by trees, like living in a forest and worlds away. The view of the ocean is stunning. The hot spa tube is a bonus, especially during the winter.
