We had a beautiful, quiet weekend! Everything was so clean and comfortable. We loved the little cottage with a fire inside, so cozy in the winter.

The area where these houses are located are great. Its so beautiful and quiet. The house has everything you need for a few days of relaxation. I loved the braai (barbeque area) and the kitchen was very well equipped. We passed by here when doing the garden route and its a great place to stay for a day or two. No neighbours and peace and quiet.

The cottage was absolutely stunning - the listing does not do it justice. The interior design was beautiful and all the amenities you could need were included. The grounds were just gorgeous and we loved the animals. With two small children we made lots of use of the little pool in the cottage garden - just perfect for our three year old. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Assegaai Rest was a hit with my family! They could not stop raving about the tipis, the cleanliness, and the warm hospitality they encountered. The tents are positioned in a picturesque spot and a real treasure. They relished being in the midst of nature and fully embracing this one-of-a-kind experience. The sound of a nearby river was a delightful backdrop, and they loved spending evenings by the fireplace. The unit was very nice, clean neat and all the required things were there, the beds were amazing, the location is amazing and the self check in was a nice touch.

Absolutely loved our stay....chimney worked like a charm, shower was spacious and water was hot...rooms were large...electric blankets, aircon....just wow! Location was so peaceful, and having a little shop on the premises was very handy.
