Located in San Pedro, 200 metres from San Pedro Beach, Alaia Belize, Autograph Collection provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a garden. We had an excellent stay at Alaia. The staff was very caring and helpful, both in providing information and with dealing with a noise complaint. We had a great couples massage in the spa and the pools are perfect for lounging around, with a swim-up bar and plenty of chairs available. The living area in the room itself is on the smaller side, but we had enough room for our luggage, the bathroom is large and the climate control gave the room a nice temperature throughout the day. The shower had a strong flow and the temperature control worked well. The various restaurants offered good food, though on the pricier side (if you want to save some money, walk a few minutes down the street to South Station grill). The hotel looks amazing with soft colours, green and light coloured wood. We would love to come back in the future. The hotel rents out golfcarts and the boats to the reefs leave from their own dock.

Set in San Pedro and with San Pedro Beach reachable within 2.5 km, Belize Budget Suites offers a garden, rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and barbecue facilities. Guests can enjoy garden... Chose to stay in San Pedro for the established dive shops, and probably will still prefer this to dive shops in Caye Caulker. Staff was super friendly and helpful, very responsive on texts. The room was amazingly HUGE for the price and comes super well equipped! Living room, small kitchen and separate bedroom, it was really lovely. Just a 3 mins walk to the beach, so pick up via one of the nearby jetty is convenient too if you were to go with dive shops further up the beach.

Situated in Caye Caulker, Sea Dreams Hotel has free bikes, terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. The hotel features family rooms. Great location and breakfast. Staff were so helpful and friendly. It was so nice to have use of bikes, canoes and the paddle boards. We also enjoyed the bar at night.

Set in San Pedro, 700 metres from North Ambergris Caye Beach, Casa del Rai offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and barbecue facilities. Not far from center but much quieter. Apartment was perfectly furnished and functioning and hosts super helpful.

Set in Caye Caulker and with Caye Caulker Beach reachable within 300 metres, DreamCabanas offers express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. Like a small oasis of calm providing a feeling of home and a pleasant place to relax on a hot day. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. Always very happy to give advice, help or direct with helpful instructions. They helped arrange a scenic flight over the big blue hole, taxi, snorkeling and more. The rooms and amenities were practical, super clean and the ambiance of the entire compound cozy and romantic. We spent several very enjoyable days of our vacation here and would love to return.

Tradewinds Paradise Villas is situated on the beachfront in San Pedro, 400 metres from San Pedro Beach. There is a year-round outdoor pool and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private... Central location, just a few steps from “downtown”. (No need for a golf cart, only if you want to go to Secret Beach) As soon as you stepped on the premises, it felt like a small slice of paradise. It is really well kept and clean. Also the apartments are huge and clean. They don’t have the modern/clean aesthetic but feel really homey. And let me tell you about the staff: They really care and help out with anything they can. They are super fast with replying and flexible. I was able to be put on to an earlier flight to the island and they re-organized a taxi and check in for me 1 hour early in the matter of minutes. I really enjoyed my stay. If you don’t want the typical resort life but more of a independent vibe, this is a great place to be.
