Everything. We stayed in many Hotels and AirBnBs over the years, but this is our favorite. It’s very clean, exceptional interior design, very good WiFi, every detail is 5 stars. The beds are to die for, the saltwater pool (very subtle) is perfect, luxurious products in the Bathroom and Marta and Alfonso will make your stay feel like paradise. They are so nice and decent people, everything comes from their heart. For the breakfast and dinner local products are used and you can taste it. If it wouldn’t be booked, we would have stayed our whole vacation. The village is very small, so it is super calm, but you can do a lot of thing in the region. Marta will provide you with a guide and numerous tipps.

Absolutly amazing place to stay! The room is so confy and clean, the hosts are so amazing and nice, the food at dinner and breakfast it's so tasty and made with local produts.

A generous, beautifully crafted and presented breakfast - Martha is an ex Cordon Bleu trained cook having formerly run a hotel with Jose in Ibiza and it definitely shows: local goats cheeses, freshly pressed orange juices, home-made fig jams and a variety of cured meats. Immaculate room with great touches. A very warm welcome on our arrival on bikes in pouring rain. Best value of our 5 day ride.

Everything was perfect. It was one of the best hotels I stayed in Spain. Clean, modern, very cosy, amazing breakfast and amazing people running this place.

The location, accommodation, facilities, staff and dining is just perfect in every sense - a real experience.

Hosts Fernando and Rosa were so welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean. Bed linen were clean. Beds were comfortable. Only a stones throw from Astorga (approx. 2.3 kms). Fernando kindly offered and drove us back to Astorga to continue our Camino the next morning. Highly recommend this place.

We had the pleasure of visiting Mauric Boutique Hotel in Llagostera at the end of October, and it was a wonderful experience! The hotel is an incredibly cozy, intimate, and peaceful place where you can truly relax and enjoy the surroundings. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and served in a charming atmosphere that set the perfect tone for the day. The rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with comfortable beds, ensuring a great night’s sleep. An extra detail we truly appreciated was the free access to water and coffee. Additionally, the hotel is dog-friendly, which was a big plus for us! If we were to mention anything that could be improved, we missed having laundry facilities and a small fridge in the room for storing essentials. However, this didn’t detract much from the overall experience, which we look back on with fondness. All in all, we highly recommend Mauric Boutique Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and personal stay in beautiful surroundings. We'll be back!

Very nice modern hotel in historic building. Although modern, it does not feel cold or unpersonal like many new hotels do. You really can feel the personal touch of the owner. Very helpful and friendly staff (also speak English) and great breakfast. Would have liked to spend more than just one night there.

Hotel Rector is a small upscale hotel with a wonderful staff and because it is not too big they have a very personal and thoughtful approach towards their guests. They also do a delicious breakfast. The location is perfect next to the old centre.

This beautiful boutique hotel is a true gem - hidden in an only seemingly small cottage in a tiny village at the end of the world (or at least the end of Spain), This area few kilometers from the border with Portugal is amazing and begs to be explored - ancient megalithic sites, ruins of Roman conquest and hot spring baths and beautiful tall mountains - and this lovingly restored and kept hotel is the perfect base. The restaurant wasn't open when we stayed but breakfast was plenty. The rooms were beautiful and the large common areas invited to sit and talk or pick up a book.

Breakfast was beautifully laid out for us to help ourselves. Staff were on hand to to serve us more of anything we required and refill our coffee cups. Beautiful dining room.all

The hotel is perfect with a big plus for cyclist!! Bike friendly: Safe bike storage with tools, pump, electrical outlet for e-bike and garden hose to clean your bike!
