The surrounding villages, rolling hills, lush nature, and fragrant orange trees created a dreamlike backdrop that felt straight out of a painting. La Monastica is, without a doubt, the most beautiful place I have ever stayed. The resort is like a secret garden unfolding across different levels—each terrace revealing new corners of serenity, from elegant pools to peaceful towers and cozy nooks perfect for unwinding while taking in the breathtaking views. The staff—Michela, Elena, Paola, and the entire team—embody true hospitality. Their attentiveness, warmth, and kindness are something truly rare and unforgettable. They made our stay not just comfortable, but genuinely heartwarming. The spa is a haven in itself. From the soothing massages to the jacuzzis enhanced with facial masks, every detail is crafted to melt away stress and wrap you in calm. The atmosphere is luxurious yet grounding—pure bliss. Devoti Restaurant deserves its own standing ovation. Set within a beautifully restored old church, the ambiance alone is magical. But the food—every single dish—was a revelation. This wasn’t just a meal; it was a culinary journey that left a lasting impression. The kind of dining experience you’ll tell stories about for years to come. And the breakfast? Absolutely divine. Every morning felt like a celebration—so fresh, so flavorful, so perfectly done. Truly, it couldn’t have been more perfect. Visiting La Monastica was a dream come true. Everything One of the best places I’ve stayed in The world. Very unique experience. We actually stayed in the castle, it was fantastic. The owners are extremely sweet and helpful. Obviously everyone stresses the location, which is great. To us the key difference between Maalot and other Roman hotels, including those well established and grande dames is staff. Maalot team is truly wonderful, very professional but warm and always helpful. There is no task too difficult to manage by the team. It would be unfair to single out only one person as ALL staff is wonderful but I need to mention Eleonora who save our holidays twice.

This was our first time at Monteverdi, and we’re already planning to return later this year. What was meant to be a three-night stay quickly turned into four, because everything was so wonderful — we simply didn’t want to leave. Here are a few of our favorite things about Monteverdi: First, the location and views. Each morning, we went on long hikes through the rolling Tuscan hills, soaking in the breathtaking scenery of this UNESCO-protected landscape. Every evening, we watched the sunset in peaceful awe. Time slows down here — and you truly learn to savor each moment. Second, the food. Every single meal was exceptional. The team sources fresh, local ingredients and crafts them into dishes that are both comforting and inspired. We looked forward to breakfast every morning, trying something new each time. And dinner? Even better. Riccardo and his team curated a seasonal menu that we absolutely loved — and since we dined there nearly every night, they even created a few special off-menu dishes just for us, which was such a memorable touch. Third, the experiences. From wine tasting at Le Ripi to day trips through charming nearby towns, there’s so much to explore. We also made time to relax at the property — the pool, sauna, and spa treatments were some of the best we’ve ever experienced. And above all, the people. Every member of the Monteverdi team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to making us feel at home. Their hospitality created a space where we could truly unwind and be present. Monteverdi is a place that stays with you — and we’re already counting down the days until we return.

We loved our stay. The room was clean and suited our needs perfectly, but the real highlight was the staff at the property. Lucio went out of his way to make our morning breakfasts a core memory of our honeymoon. We will be recommending this stay to anyone looking to book along the Amalfi Coast!

A very special hotel, an amazing location with a very beautiful view, a special pool with a sea view, the hotel staff is amazing

Perfection! Everything is beyond expectations. You will never regret choosing this hotel. It is placed in the middle of the woods, where silence is only disturbed by birds. High quality is standard for every little corner, since you enter it smells amazing, very clean and cozy. Our room had an amazing view towards the mountains. The pillows were from the clouds. Breakfast was delicious with everything you could ever dream for, fresh and heavenly taste. Staff was so kind and warm and discreet. The pool area is a dream, the water perfectly warm and clean. Hot tub, lounge area, meditation corner, saunas, all from heaven. I had the most amazing birthday here, thank you Aeon team, the world is a better place because of you and your standards.

The location, very cozy in the woods, fresh air, and of course, very attentive and friendly staff! They have very cute foxes visiting every evening for the snacks!
