Where to even begin… our stay at Whale Shark Beach is one we will not forget. The staff were so accommodating and friendly for our entire stay. They always welcomed us back from our excursions or just afternoons out on the beach and always wanted to know what we had done that day. The food was immaculate and we ended up eating at the hotel every night so we could keep trying things off the menu. The rooftop dining area is especially lovely, it’s nice to be able to see the stars during the evening. The excursions team were absolutely incredible. We saw dolphins, turtles, various reefs and had an unforgettable experience swimming with manta rays. The team were also incredibly generous and allowed us to join two additional manta ray and whale shark trips for no additional cost after we had not seen them initially. The boat was well equipped and the team were incredibly focussed on guest safety in the water as well as enjoyment. Another key thing that we applaud the excursions team on is ensuring the safety and well being of the wild animals we saw whilst out on the sea. The boat engine was immediately turned off as soon as we saw dolphins and they kept a good distance away instead of chasing and harassing the animals. Additionally, prior to one of our whale shark tours we were briefed on how to swim with the animal safely and were reminded that if anyone tried to touch or swim to close to the animal they would be removed from the water. As someone who works in marine animal conservation, I applaud the team at Whale Shark Beach for putting the animals first and ensuring that both them and the guests could have a safe and enjoyable experience. The room was lovely. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’d ever slept in and very spacious. The television also had smart options available to watch Netflix or Amazon Prime which was a big bonus.

Situated a few steps from Gulhi, Ayala Oceanview Maldives offers 4-star accommodation in Gulhi and has a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Clean and quiet hotel, close to the beach. The bed is comfy. The staff was very helpful and friendly and food was delicious. The nice surprise was free sun beds and umbrella.

Facing the beachfront, Ecoboo Maldives offers 4-star accommodation in Thinadhoo and has free bikes, garden and shared lounge. We loved everything!!! Friendly staff, clean and confortable rooms, located right on the beach, good food! It is even better than a resort island, would love to come back one day! Also the island its just amazing, we had luck to find it!

Located in Thoddoo, Rihiveli Residence Thoddoo features a garden, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. We had an unforgettable week at Rihiveli Residence. The experience was simply superb! The staff was incredibly attentive and hospitable, always ready to assist with any of our requests. The room was spacious, with a stunning view of the sea, and equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Overall, the experience was mixed. The positives included the cleanliness of the room and the convenient location of the hotel near the beach. We enjoyed excellent service at the hotel restaurant, where culinary masterpieces simply amazed the imagination. And how they celebrated my birthday, you have to see it to believe it. We will definitely come back here again and again!

Set 100 metres from Dhigurah North West Beach, Dhiguveli Breeze offers 3-star accommodation in Dhigurah and has a garden, a shared lounge and a restaurant. It's a great hotel, food and service is better than in other local island hotels I've been to before. I also really enjoyed the Dhigurah island: it's large enough for walks, has a nice sandy beach and snorkeling is terrific there as you can see turtles, stingrays, moray eels just 20-30 meters from shore in shallow waters. Scuba diving was also fantastic.

The hotel was located on the most peaceful side of the island. Service was excellent. Room was clean with an amazing view - looks exactly like the pictures

Raalhu Fonu Maldives provides beachfront accommodation in Mahibadhoo. Featuring a concierge service, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. Everyone and everything was perfect, staff amazing service and very professional. Fantastic tours. I will recommend the property to all mine best contacts and for sure I will be back. A small piece of my heart is still there. Thank you so much.

200 metres from Bikini Beach, Surf Trip Maldives is located in Thulusdhoo and features free WiFi, concierge services and express check-in and check-out. Everything was perfect. Staff is nice and helped my gf finding a cake for my birthday, very thoughtful. Very good price value, highly recommend!

Facing the beachfront in Dhiffushi, The Sunset Villa has a private beach area and a shared lounge. My stay was absolutely amazing. The villa has a private beach and breathtaking views of the ocean. The staff is very nice and helpful. The owner is a great person who do his best to make sure guests are comfortable and will help with everything, especially arranging transfers to and from the airport. One of the staff will pick you up at the port and take you to the villa. You can communicate with the owner via WhatsApp or in person as he stops by the villa at least once a day. The facilities of the villa are very good, nice clean rooms, housekeeping with change of towels and beach towels whenever you ask for it. Basically no mosquitoes in my room. Cold drinking water available for free 24/7. The food was absolutely delicious, prepared by fantastic chefs. I highly recommend this accommodation, it felt like home.
