Akagera Ihema lodges has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Akagera. We had an amazing time at Ihema Lodges! This place far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived until check-out we felt truly looked after. The rooms were clean and comfortable with nice details throughout. Enjoying dinner with a beautiful backdrop of the lake was a highlight in itself. The staff was very helpful and flexible and made preparing for our safari in Akagera National Park a breeze. We already miss the tranquility and calm of Ihema and will be sure to return soon. Big thank you to the staff for creating such a memorable stay!

It was so quiet and chilled and the food was excellent. The staff were really friendly as were the other guests….. slept like a log, glorious views from our cabin and there was plenty to do (if u wanted to)…, We did a lovely boat trip around the other islands and a fantastic bike mountain bike ride thru rural Rwanda. We even stopped at a school to meet the children and see them in their classrooms…

Umutuzo Lodge Kivu Lake features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a private beach area and shared lounge in Buhoro. The property has a terrace, as well as a bar. The location is spectacular and our rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable. The view from the room is mesmerizing. The staff are extremely helpful and responsive. The chef provided the most delicious menus we’ve had in Rwanda. Excellent meals!

I cannot even express the gratitude I have for people and this place! They went above and beyond, do not hesitate to stay here, dont bother looking anywhere else, this is the place to stay, the rooms are immaculate, they washed our clothes, prepared our food which tasted phenomenal, I dream about the tilapia! They went all out for my husbands birthday, arranged for halal meat! Wow! Couldn't believe it! Best hotel ive ever stayed in, truly and I have travelled the world, they even organised our tour for the national park, exceptional! Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone! Thank you everyone from the bottom of my heart!

We received an exceptional welcome, the food was healthy and delicious, and we got all the assistance we needed for touring. My kids loved the lodge and all the activities they experienced, including cruising on Lake Kivu, swimming, enjoying the fishermen experience, and of course, playing cards. We had an unforgettable time. The owners, Aicha and Ivan, are incredibly kind and caring. It was a wonderful vacation. Umurobyi is a peaceful and quiet place - with a great view, perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
