Located in São Tomé, 700 metres from Emília Beach, Hotel Kenito provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. clean and new rooms, comfy bed, good wifi and A/C, nice pool, but above all great host and staff - they were extremely helpful and fulfilled literally every wish i had :) i'd recommend to go for their rental cars too - the local car rental agencies i had were not very reliable and i got really old cars (but inexpensive, ok) ;)

Hotel Central is located in São Tomé. Each accommodation at the 3-star hotel has city views and free WiFi. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. Great value for money. Central location, good room size, A/C worked perfectly, clean room with good water pressure...nice balcony to watch the life below. The lady owner didn't speak English well but nothing Google Translate can't resolve. The staff were very helpful and friendly. On one day I found complementary pastries in my room which was a nice touch. There is a nice supermarket next door that has everything you may need. I was able to walk in the night to get some food. It is safer than it may look at night. Some guests have reported noise feom cars on the street...didn't really affect me as I always carry ear plugs. It is easier to wear them than silence the world. Overall a pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel.

Located by the beach on Sao Tome Island in the Gulf of Guinea, Omali Lodge provides elegant rooms and free WiFi access. Omali is a great hotel near the airport, and a short walk to the popular beach. The on-site restaurant had an amazing buffet breakfast, and I also had lunch and dinner there. The pool was very clean and perfect for a morning swim. The staff had plenty of helpful information and really made the stay.

Located on São Tomé Island, Pestana Sao Tome is set on the seaside, 1 km from the centre of São Tomé. It offers private beach access, an outdoor swimming pool, a spa and a terrace with sunbeds. The breakfast was a buffet style and was better and with more variety than most European or American 4+ start hotels. Good quality food, good use of local foods, very attentive service. I liked how they used some of the local chocolate syrups and preserves, as well as fruits and coffee. Excellent view of the sea for a bonus! We also had shows every evening, including a local live band and a youth orchestra playing local music. Both were great! The starts of this hotel however were the staff. The front desk was efficient, they were ready for the check in, they had the bill ready for the checkout, and they were always smiling and eager to help. The bartenders and maids were also friendly and proactive, very proactive, same for the towel person at the pool. And Bruna was fantastic! she was all over the place, talking to guests and helping in any way possible from getting taxis to organizing tours, making dinner reservations at local restaurants, etc. In summary, customer service was in line with or better than most 4+ star hotels in Europe or the USA.

Emoyeni Gardens provides beachfront accommodation in São Tomé. This property also boasts a restaurant and a year-round outdoor pool. All rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.... Loved this small boutique hotel. Run by a dedicated family since its inception and it has everything you need in a hotel. The service is beyond exceptional. The wifi, air conditioning, showers, large rooms, and continental breakfast are perfect and the location is within walking distance of many restaurants and local sites. They even have a small bar with a great selection and my favourite , São Tomé national beer. Highly recommended.

Casa Cantagalo - Guest House & Bar Restaurant has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Santana. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms conveniently furnished and decorated. The owners paid attention to the small details making the stay pleasant, both in the restaurant and in the hotel parts. Outstanding view in the terrace, facing hills and mountains.

Located in Santo António and within 15 km of Zona Ecologica Principe Ecological Zone, Guesthouse Cacau e Café features a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. Guests can have a drink at the snack... Central, clean, and easy to find. The manager and staff were very polite and helpful. As a suggestion for breakfast, it would be great to have a small written menu to choose from. Also, offering some local coffee and cacao would add a lovely touch to the experience.
