Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience. The staff were polite and helpful and friendly. Every detail of the hotel was cared for and the surroundings were beautiful. We still talk about this hotel and want to go back.

The lobby is nice and the rooms are painted in the typical Ouro Preto style. We were deceived by the appearance, and this was our disaster.

In a restored colonial mansion, Hotel Luxor offers a taste of the 18th century, with rooms featuring a décor inspired in that era. They offer beautiful views of Ouro Preto´s churches.

The colonial style. It is not luxurious but it did have its charm. It had an excellent bed, excellent linen. Bathroom was good. Pretty good breakfast. Remember this hotel is small and more like a boutique style. True to the local culture.

Amazing architectural masterpiece in Ouro Preto. The hotel is great to wander around and the views from everywhere across the small city are great. Friendly and helpful staff at reception. Some speak English, some do not, but that doesn’t matter as we always for there in the end. The hotel is incredibly clean. The workers are constantly cleaning and maintaining the hotel. The small swimming pool out front isn’t heated, but it wasn’t too cold, although I didn’t have time for a swim as I was busy exploring. The small apartment I had included a balcony with a stunning view across the city with a bedroom looking over the well kept gardens at the rear. It was great to wake up and listen to the birds and watch the clouds / mist drop over the mountainside. The hotel is close to some great restaurants in town.

Located in Mariana, 11 km from Sao Francisco de Paula Church, Pousada Gamarano provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace.

Cute and lovingly decorated Pousada with a great view of the town. It's a 10-15 min walk to the centre. Would visit again!
