It was a wonderful stay! Ana was a first person that I met in the hotel. She likes a gentle breeze to set me so comfortable although the room was not ready! With her arrangement that my room was so wonderful! Only problem was I didn’t arrange myself to stay more! Definitely I will return to this hotel! Very central, warm, quiet room with ensuite. Very central and nearby Migros supermarket and bus stops. Excellent restaurant downstairs run by Italian chef we had a very succulent, fresh Perch. On the ground floor there’s a welcoming Bar run by Obi who is a bit of a wine connoisseur and up for a chat…in English. Mostly locals.

Set in a former brewery from the 18th century, this hotel is only a 15-minute walk away from the Old Town of Neuchâtel.

Hôtel La Maison du Prussien is one of those places that will exceed your expectations in every possible way. Quiet and atmospheric this is a perfect place for those who appreciate tradition, culture and historic heritage. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Service is impeccable. Rooms are charming and unique. The on-site restaurant is one of the very best in Neuchâtel. Every need we had was met far and beyond what was requested. We will definitely come back again. If you demand a hectic hotel with a spa, a pool, a conference hall and hundreds of busy travelers nearby, then this is not a place for you, but you can get this experience anywhere. However, if you are of a type that appreciates history, subtle details, architectural nuances, and everything that is generally encompassed by one word - "l'ambiance", then Hôtel La Maison du Prussien is definitely a place for you. Come and stay there, and you will be glad you chose this place.

This hotel is impressive for its heritage: first documented as a hotel in the 14C. But despite some intentional remnants in the building, the rooms have been modernized by a designer with excellent style and taste. No indication that the room was any older than a few years! We had a room with a small kitchen and courtyard view, but it was spacious and very quiet - couldn't even hear any noise from the restaurant right below. Murten is a charming medieval town that is worth stopping in for a night when the tourists are gone and the atmosphere is special.

The property is a beautiful house that makes you feel literally at home. When we booked a BnB with shared bathroom, even seeing the pictures, we couldn’t imagine it would be so warm, welcoming and comfortable. At the beginning it was a bit confusing to find the right door, but once we were there the owner treated us greatly, very attentive and always smiling, yet fully respectful with our privacy. Breakfast was great, all fresh and a good variety, all nicely presented (see pictures)
