Ideal accomodation for car travellers, located in remote and quiet area. Great value for money! No chance to find similar in Zürich, it's more expensive there. 30-40 min from Zürich center, 10 min from Rheinfall. Seems to be family hotel rebuilt from old private house. Obviously with no 24h counter. However lady on reception waited for our arrival that was around midnight! You can warn about late arrival by phone, Room is not large but very well designed. Towels, shower gel are available. Very comfortable bed! Adaptor for unique (but idevices compatible) Swiss power outlet availble on reception. Euro are accepted.

I thought the hotel was very comfortable and relaxing. The rooms were a good size with plenty of attention to detail. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and they even went above and beyond to support our needs during the stay. A special thanks to Cristina and Lena who helped us out on the day of our departure.

Super friendly and helpful owners - contacted us back to say we could arrive early. Welcomed us with freshly made and delicious cake. Helped us with oil for our bikes. Good advice on a restaurant. And the room was very comfortable. And the breakfast superb. A really outstanding place to stay.

Built in the 14th and 15th centuries, the prestigious Guildhall Rueden is a successful example of the architecture of this time. The refined façade allows you to forget the 21st century.

We were traveling with our dog, and the hotel kindly provided him with his own bed, blanket, two bowls, and some snacks. We were offered ice because of hot weather. And bottled water was free of charge.
