We liked the selection of fresh fruits and vegetables at the breakfast buffet. We also enjoyed the take out breakfast boxes on our excursion day. The staff were friendly. During peak hours, there was a queue for coffee. Would love to see more local Beijing breakfast items on offer at the breakfast buffet.

The people. Amazing service! I had to weigh my luggage and had 2 odd size luggage. A staff came up to help weigh them and I asked if I could have the odd sized item packed at the airport. He was not sure, but volunteered to help me with it. I was on an urgent work call. He helped me to pack it and quietly left the room. Totally impressed! All the staff at East are warm and friendly. Now definitely my go-to hotel when I am back:)

The atmosphere is so authentic and charming. The hotel is lovely decorated and preserved, you feel you are transported in the old Beijing with the modernity of today. A lovely boutique hotel. The staff is extremely helpful, they take care of any of your request, booking taxi, calling places, finding a restaurant... we stayed 4 nights and felt at home. The location is great, you are in an authentic Hudong, a lovely "home" immersed in a real local district.

Beautiful Hotel with Artful Design and Perfect Location! This hotel is truly a gem! The location is ideal—directly connected to a mall, which made shopping and dining extremely convenient. The design and atmosphere are truly unique; every corner of the hotel felt like a piece of art. It was a pleasure just walking around and admiring the details. The rooms and common areas were exceptionally clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of our stay.
