Beautiful relaxing oasis in the middle of Maspalomas. We had been to Maspalomas twice previously but our first time at Birdcage. We were so happy we decided to stay here. The room (we had the pelican cage) was exceptional. Clean, with all required amenities and a private garden space. The resort itself was exceptional. Pool was great, it’s not too overcrowded as Birdcage is a smaller property. Breakfast included was exceptional, with several options to choose from a small buffet style, but if that doesn’t suit, the team will cook you breakfast from a vast selection of other options. And the team - they are exceptional. Ralf and Roland did a fantastic job, nothing was too much trouble and they took the time to check in each day and see if there was anything required.

Set within the 18-hole Salobre Golf Course, Salobre Hotel Resort & Serenity features 7 outdoor swimming pools and a spa. This hotel is 15 minutes' drive from Maspalomas.

We selected Salobre due to closeness to 27 hole golf course. Proshop is on the ground floor of the hotel and golf cart you get in front of the hotel. We liked swimming in the heated pool and fantastic breakfasts and dinners. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly.

Staff were AMAZING!! The hotel was all-inclusive and provided 3 meals a day in a huge buffet style dining area. When I checked in, it was nearing the end of the lunch hour. Before they even checked me in they asked if I was hungry and welcomed me to go eat lunch first, then check in. I was there for 5 days and the staff just continued to impress me. The World Cup was going on and I would call the front desk to find out which stations it would be broadcast on. After only one day, they new me and had the channels already ready for me when I called!! I wish I could call out all of them by name, but KUDOS to the ENTIRE reception staff!! Room was huge and comfortable with a balcony and great view. Food was absolutely amazing as well. HUGE buffets with wine and beer all made by professional cooks. Paella was phenomenal!! I rarely tip buffet style food places since there's not really personal service. This place was different...the restaurant crew were awesome! Service, table clean up, cleanliness of restaurant, well stocked food/wine. They never missed the mark...I gave a HUGE tip to the staff on the last day. HIGHLY recommend this hotel...10 stars!!
